Tuition and Financial Aid


TUITION

Tuition is set at 22,880 euros for 2009-2010.
Tuition is set at 23,795 euros for 2010-2011.
Tuition is set at 24,500 euros for 2011-2012.

FINANCIAL AID

Sciences Po is glad to be able to offer financial aid to some candidates. On a competitive basis, a limited number of scholarships are awarded each year. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of need as well as merit. They range from partial to full tuition remission, and are valid for all four semesters of study at Sciences Po. They do not cover living expenses.

To be considered for such a scholarship, candidates must complete the MPA Scholarship Application pages of the online application before submitting the forms. Supporting documents should be attached as PDF documents. For scholarship consideration applications for admission must be submitted by the March 15th 2010 deadline.

Candidates are encouraged to apply for as many other sources of grants and funding as possible. For information on other possible scholarships and financial aid, you may consult :

Non-French candidates may apply to the Eiffel Scholarship Program if they submit their MPA application by the November 17th deadline. The Eiffel scholarships attributed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs are designed for outstanding foreign students under 31 years of age at the time of applying, generally originating from developing countries. Eligible students may also apply for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Fellowship program supervised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation. This fellowship will cover full tuition costs, accommodation, books, stipend and travel costs, for the full duration of the Fellowship. Holders of the fellowship are required to return to the region to work for two years at least, in the public or private sector. Overview

LOANS


Students coming from the United States should note that all U.S. Federal student loans apply to degree programs at Sciences Po.

WORK

While the MPA is designed to be a full-time program, some students manage to do a few hours' consulting, tutoring, or other work during the semester to help finance their studies. Foreign students are legally permitted to work for 19.5 hours a week in France during the period of their studies.
